| Clover
The annual clover program is centred on developing annual clovers for seasonal rainfall environments where quick growth to produce bulk spring, early summer fodder and grazing is required, quiet often in mixtures with other species such as oats or annual ryegrass.

Flash Persian Clover
Origin and Breeding
Was bred by SGA from Australian adapted early maturing persian clovers. Flash is early maturing (115/120 days to 50% flowering) but is plastic in its maturity depending on soil moisture conditions. It is erect in its growth making it suitable for forage production and has a low level of hard seed making it suitable for regenerating grazing pastures. Flash is very tolerant of waterlogged soils.

RD 8 Persian Clover
Origin and Breeding
Also bred by SGA from Maral, Leeton and Laser Persian clover. RD 8 is a late maturing variety (140/150 days to 50% flowering) and is suitable for multi cut forage production. It has a higher tolerance to rust than Maral and is a more reliable seed and forage producer than its parents.
